How to forgive when it seems impossible.
If you are someone going through relationship struggles or family dysfunction, my heart is with yours.
I intimately know the confusion, hurt, rejection and all the wide-ranging emotions that come with relationship and family discord.
It’s so easy to get caught up in the round and round on the hamster wheel in our mind of the what if’s, why’s & how’s of the pain and confusion of it. The brain loves a good mystery and will spin out for days on solutions that will not only keep you safe and comfortable, but also stagnated, deeply unfulfilled and ultimately resentful.
This can often lead to many addictions and unwanted unhealthy habits that only serve to take you further away from the desired state of balance, bliss and wellness.
The quickest way to healing and moving away from the negative, draining, low vibration energy and into balanced bliss is achieved through forgiveness and self-love.

Remember … this is an emotional, intrapersonal & interpersonal communication literacy skill that so many need. “Forgive them for they not what they do.”
They can’t see past their own hurts, and the saying “hurt people hurt” is a truth that will help to get through the loss of loved ones who are still physically alive but not present in your life.
For self-reflection – we must look at the rejection we feel from others and ask ourselves:
“Where and how am I rejecting myself?”
“How can I be more present to my needs?”
“Where can I forgive myself?”
It’s a radical approach, but it is effective and will ease the pain of loss and rejection. And foster deeper sense of self awareness and increase self-love.
For once you possess awareness that rejection is protection, and an outward sign of how they are rejecting part of themselves, you begin to accept the experience.
Awareness allows you to see that it’s more about their fears and impaired beliefs that are driving the disconnect and disharmony.
Whole, complete & emotionally healthy people do not hurt others … they seek understanding and resolution-not control, isolation and judgement.
We can’t change others nor can we make others be open to ideas outside their own, even if they are mutually beneficial for humanity.
What we can change is our own understanding of the what, who and why and forge alliance with self through our self-care and self-love. The most important and desired side effects we get to experience from this is allowing the new awareness to guide us into balanced bliss with self. The only thing we truly have control over.
Yes! It is heartbreaking to miss experiences with them, the lost relationships and opportunities to be part of their lives.
I know…trust me.
That duality of emotions is what life is.
A constant cause/effect classroom to learn and practice the skills of communication literacy, intra-personal & inter-personal. But like any classroom, once you have access to it, and willingly move forward to learn new skills and accept the process of learning and making mistakes as you learn, you will soon see a shift and most important, realizing you are more empowered and confident.
Use these affirmations to help empower yourself.
- I get to choose what one I subscribe to.
- I get to choose what I allow to penetrate my fragile heart.
- I get to choose to keep my power when I don’t allow my struggles to hurt me, (because they are clearly hurt-so I then extend compassion).
- I get to choose that this struggle doesn’t define me or my worth.
- I get to choose forgiveness for those who hurt me.
- I chose these experiences and struggles for my spiritual and personal growth.
Will it be PAINFUL? YES! Absolutely!
But you will grow leaps and bounds rapidly and find peace.
Remember always, don’t take things personally and when you are offended say:
Please forgive me. I forgive you. I am sorry. I love you. Thank you.
And thank the universe for the lessons in that classroom and let them go.
Choose those words over the belief and negative energy of judgement, rejection and loss.
Choose the classroom of self-love and peace for humanity as you increase your emotional literacy and communication skills.
Peace ~ Love ~ Forgiveness
