In Dallas, there is a growing trend in women getting acupuncture. More and more, women are seeking the alternative and ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine. They are reading about it and hearing about it from friends, family, coworkers and even their doctors. Not only are the women of Dallas using acupuncture and Chinese herbs, they are loving it!
Younger women are enjoying the advantages offered by acupuncture to regulate their periods, or help them get one. Acupuncture is a safe and effective way to regulate the hormones that cause easier periods. They find relief from PMS, cramps, and cravings. These women are reporting feeling more relaxed, clear minded and energized.
The biggest secret out, is the benefit of acupuncture to help infertility. Women are using acupuncture to help them get pregnant, and it works! Most women get acupuncture as soon they hear how great it is. Sometimes this is before they start western medical treatment for infertility. Sometimes it is during their western infertility treatments. They use acupuncture to compliment these treatments, reduce the stress on their bodies, and improve the chances for positive results.
Once women are pregnant, they are using acupuncture too. It reduces morning sickness and threatened miscarriage in the first trimester. In the last trimester, acupuncture is helpful for regulating blood pressure, turning a breach baby, initiating labor and easing the labor process. Pregnant women are amazed at how helpful an acupuncture treatment feels for their changing bodies. Although many women call to get help towards the end of their pregnancy to improve their labor, I recommend starting acupuncture treatments a few weeks earlier for best results!
After pregnancy, women are using Chinese medicine for new Mom issues. It works great to help lactation (we have herbs that are antibacterial and safe for Mom and Baby). Also, it helps a woman recover after the birth, returning her to a healthy balance and ready for another pregnancy. Acupuncture and herbs work very well to balance hormones, stabilize emotions, and build back the blood that is lost during birthing process.
The second big secret women are discovering about Chinese medicine, is how great it works for menopausal and postmenopausal symptoms. Hot flashes are a huge discomfort for many women during their time of change. Luckily, they are using acupuncture and Chinese herbs and finding amazing results. Women report a decrease of symptoms in just a few treatments. And the best part is they report the symptoms stay gone (unlike hormone replacement therapy that needs to be taken long term).
Women of all ages are booking acupuncture in Dallas like never before. The word is spreading in the metroplex and acupuncture is becoming very popular. Some women have recently moved to Dallas and, having loved acupuncture before, are excited to resume it. Others are finally trying it for the first time. More local ladies are asking questions and learning its benefits as well. It is fun to have so many women in Dallas getting acupuncture and discovering what all the hype is about!
