October 6th– 9am-1pm– Yoga Digest Fest- This FREE, family-friendly yoga event is hosted by Yoga Digest and sponsored by the City of Carrollton. This is their 2nd Annual Yoga Digest Fest in downtown Carrollton. Join for a variety of yoga classes and offerings including Crystal Bowl meditation, an all levels yoga class, Doga, Acro Yoga, Ayurveda, Aerial Yoga, Essential Oils class and more! Plus a Vendor Village with plenty of sips and eats, shopping, sampling and activities from Henna tattoos, chair massage, arts and crafts, live music and more. October 7th– Noon -10pm– The Buffalo Tree Festival-T HE BUFFALO TREE FESTIVAL
Starring: Beto O’Rourke, Spoon, The Polyphonic Spree, Sparta, Lupe Valdez, Colin Allred, Sarah Jaffe, Bobby Sessions, The Tontons, and so many more! Presented by the team behind Homegrown Fest, in partnership with Dylan Silvers (The Polyphonic Spree) and Dallas County Democratic Party, we are pleased to announce the inaugural Buffalo Tree Festival, an all-ages, family-friendly music & political engagement festival that will feature both musical acts and Democratic candidates take the stage for a day of entertainment, voter registration, and democracy in action. October 12th – Meet a Monk- Stop by the East Lawn at Klyde Warren Park to meet the monks from the Mystical Arts of Tibet artist residency at the Crow Collection of Asian Art. There will be a brief overview of the 3 different programs including the Good To Grow and Pit Bull Partners Rescue Mission. You can help plant a garden along with other important chores to help our service men. There will be snacks and plenty of time to socialize.
